Funeral service for Dorothy R. Shuford age 74 of Port Orange died on Friday May 5 2006 at Hospice in Port Orange will be held on Tuesday April 9th 11:00am with Rev. Robert Moorehead officiating. Friends may call Tuesday 9:00-11:00am at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona.

Dorothy was born on January 1 1932 in Vale North Carolina. She was the daughter of John and Beatrice Rhoney. She worked for Social Security administration for 32 years as a claims advisor retiring in 1986. Dorothy moved to this area in 1986 from Baltimore Maryland. She was an avid Bingo Player and enjoyed crafts.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Bobbie W. Shuford A son; Robert W. Shuford of Jessup Maryland A sister; Faye R. Stewart Hogan of Valdese N.C. a granddaughter; Brenda R. Shuford of Sorrento FL A great Granddaughter; Anna M. Shollenbarger of Clermont FL. Sister of the late Nezzie Huffman.
