Dorothy Marie Peterson age 57 of Deland passed away unexpectedly on Sunday January 30 2011. A memorial service in her honor will be held on Tuesday February 8 2011; 2:00 PM at Faith Lutheran Church 509 East Pennsylvania Avenue DeLand. Dorothy was born and raised here in Deland one of George and Marieanna Myles 4 children. She was an independent prideful woman of many talents and interest who enjoyed swimming bingo bowling gardening cooking for her family kitting and doing crafts. In her simple down to earth presence her unfailing artistic talents always shown throw. She had a heart of gold deep with love for her daughters grandchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters Heidi (Rick) Harvert Holly Peterson Heather Pace and Erica (John O'Donnell) Richards 3 siblings: Mary Ann (Lenton) Fidler Alfred (Heather) Myles and George Myles her Aunt who is more like a sister: Ingrid DeSellems 4 grandchildren: Devin Hopelynn Austin and Frieda an uncle Alfred Muller Jr. and many life long loving friends.
