Dorothy Mercorelli 77 of Frost Lane in Deltona died April 26 at the Hospice Care Center in Port Orange. Services will be held Tuesday May 1 2007 at 12:00 pm at the 1st United Methodist Church of Deltona. Family will receive friends for 2 hours prior to the service and interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park.
Mrs. Mercorelli a homemaker moved to Deltona in 1966 from Long Island New York. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Deltona for 40 years where she sang in the choir. Along with singing she enjoyed sewing music and gardening. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 58 years Angelo; a son Nick (Terri) of Orange City; a daughter Diane Baum (Clarke) of Port Orange; grandchildren Tracey Sean Jason and Corey; and great-grandchildren Tyler and Justin. The family requests that memorial donations be made in Dorothy's name to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32129.
