Dorothy Lindelof 82 of Port Orange entered into eternal life at 9:13 a.m. Tuesday August 19 2008 at Port Orange Nursing and Rehabilitation.
A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday August 26 at the Lohman Funeral Home in Port Orange. Greeting time will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Volusia-Flagler .
Dorothy was the daughter of Emil and Ellen (Carlson) Ecker. She was born on August 14 1926 in Cedar Rapids Iowa. She was retired from Bishop's Glen in Holly Hill where she worked as a LPN for several years. She was a member of the United Brethren of Christ Church in Holly Hill and Women of the Moose of Chapter 1019 in Ormond Beach.
Survivors include daughter: Ellen (husband Frank) Sebastian of Port Orange; son: Jeffrey Lindelof of Baltimore Maryland; brother: Lloyd Shogren Cedar Rapids Iowa; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Carl James and Howard Shogren.
