Dorothy Elizabeth Koehler of Ormond Beach Florida was born to this life on January 30 1911. Born into eternal life in the late night hours of May 27 2003.

Dorothy moved to Florida in 1976 from New Jersey.

She is the widow of Leo J. Koehler to whom she was married for 34 years. She is the loving mother of her late son Donald J. Koehler.

She is survived by a host of grandchildren great grandchildren great-great grandchildren as well as many many friends.

Dorothy was a gracious lady. Her strength love humor and wisdom were cherished gifts for all who received them. She was a lady of tremendous and often anonymous kindness. Her many acts of charity and goodness live on in the hearts of all whom she touched with her generous heart. Her accomplishments were many and her love of people surpassed the bounds of race color or creed providing an example that will continue to teach all who mourn her passing for years to come. Legally blind in recent years Dorothy knew that what was essential to life could only be seen clearly with the heart. Her laughter love patience and goodness were hallmarks of a life well lived.

Friends may join in paying tribute at a visitation to be held at St. Brendan Catholic Church 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd. on Friday May 30 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at which time a prayer service will be celebrated in thanksgiving to Almighty God for the gift of this dear and precious lady. Dorothy will be laid to rest at St. Catherine?s Cemetery in Sea Girt New Jersey following a service at Reilly Funeral Home in Belmar New Jersey on Monday June 2 at 10:30 a.m.
