Dorothy Mary Klang 87 of Palm Coast Florida passed away on November 2 2012 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House Palm Coast Florida. A visitation will be held on Monday November 5 2012 from 10 am until the Funeral Service at 11 am at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Pkwy SW Palm Coast. Interment will immediately follow at the Daytona Memorial Park Daytona Beach Florida.

Dorothy was born and raised in Pennsauken NJ. She graduated from the Merchantville High School. She then received her Bachelor's Degree from the Glassboro State Teachers College Glassboro NJ. She was then employed as an elementary School teacher for many years at the Mt. Ephraim Merchantville and Pennsauken NJ School Districts. She was also a Sunday school teacher at the First Baptist church Collingswood NJ then the Flagler Beach United Methodist Church Flagler Beach Florida. Dorothy moved with her husband Charles to Palm Coast Florida in 2002. In her younger years Dorothy enjoyed sewing wedding gowns and taking care of her growing family. In Florida Dorothy enjoyed quieter times reading scripture and bird watching.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Margaret and one daughter Peggy in 2001. She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years Charles J. Klang Jr. of Palm Coast son Charles J. Klang III and his wife Alice of California daughter Julie Whitehead of Palm Coast. She was also the loving grandmother to her three grandchildren Faith Emily and CJ.
