Dorothy Elsie Jilg age 96 passed away on Tuesday February 13 2007 at the home of her son in Palm Coast. A Funeral Service will be held in the Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church on Friday February 16 2007 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at the chapel Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast on Thursday February 15 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Carrollton Cemetery in Carrollton Illinois at a later date.

Dorothy was born in St. Louis Missouri on August 19 1910 to Charles & Anna (Blum) Lippmann. She moved to Palm Coast in 1996 from Carrollton Illinois. She was a member of Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church the L.W.M.L. and church quilting group. Dorothy was also a former volunteer at Wadsworth Elementary School.

Dorothy was a wonderful homemaker whose greatest joys came from her family. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Herman C. Jilg in 1990. Left to cherish their memories of Dorothy are her sons and daughters-in-law Tom & Patricia Jilg of Palm Coast Jerry & Patsy Jilg of Greenfield IN and Mike & Martha Jilg of Eldred IL; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church 101 Pine Lakes Pkwy. Palm Coast FL 32164
