Dorothy E. Hilseberg 100 our mother wife grandmother great- grandmother great-great- grandmother sister aunt and family matriarch passed away on October 19 2011.
Dorothy was born on March 18 1911 in Scranton Pennsylvania. She began her career following high school as a teller in a local bank being recognized for her finding counterfeit money someone was trying to pass. Upon her marriage and the birth of her three children the family moved to NJ. When her husband retired they moved to be near the ocean in Ocean Grove NJ. From there they went to the west coast of Florida finally settling in Ormond by the Sea. While there she became very active and a charter member of Riverview United Methodist Church having held offices in Bible Study Sunday School the Women's Club as well as in official capacities within the area and circuit Methodist Churches. She is survived by her loving husband M. Norris son Gary (Mary) of Pa. Gregg of Indiana Dianne (Lance) of Ormond by the Sea Bob (Rita) NJ and her continual caregiver her youngest daughter Barbara of Holly Hill. She is also survived by eight grandchildren fourteen great-grandchildren four great-great-grandchildren plus numerous nieces nephews and cousins. She will be so incredibly missed by us all for her humor when things were a bit awry for her laughter in times of stress and for the many parties we have enjoyed in her honor. Please join us as we have a Memorial Celebration of Life held to honor her at Riverview United Methodist Church 2253 John Anderson Ormond by the Sea at 1:00 pm on Friday October 28th.
