Dorothy Hagy, age 85 of Port Orange, Florida died Friday, January 15 at Port Orange Nursing and Rehab. Mrs. Hagy was born in Avondale, W.V. and moved to this area from Goldsboro, N .C. in 1976. Dorothy enjoyed her crafts, traveling, genealogy, cooking and loved children, animals, nature and especially chocolate. She retired from Volusia County as a Home Health and Dietary Aide, and was a member of The First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach. Those left behind to cherish her memory are Dorothy's son, Joseph (Barbara) Llorens of South Florida, her daughters Carolyn Sue Fitton of Port Orange, Fl. and Jewel (Rick) Hagy-Ingramm of Northern Ohio, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 20 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona at 1:00 pm; calling hours will begin at 11:30 am. Interment will take place at Daytona Memorial Park following the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Dorothy's name to Halifax Health Hospice or your favorite Charity.
