Funeral Mass for Dorothy Doherty 77 of Brown Crane Ct in Pelican Bay will be celebrated by Father John O?Sullivan at 830 am on Thursday 3/16 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Her family will receive friends in the chapel of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4pm till 8pm. Dorothy passed away Sunday morning at her home. Dorothy was born in Flushing NY and moved to this area 16 years ago. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and the Pelican Bay Country Club and she enjoyed playing golf and mah-jong. Survivors include her husband of 56 years Edward and their 2 children; Michael and his wife Maria of Plano TX and Ellen of Daytona Beach 4 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren many nieces and nephews and a cousin who was like a sister-Catherine Murray of Flushing NY.
