Dorothy Jean Decker, 91, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on April 12, 2020 at Halifax Health Hospital, Daytona Beach, Florida. She was born January 4, 1929 in East Orange, New Jersey to James and Rose (Desch) Henderson. Dorothy was devoted to her family and enjoyed hosting family gatherings and celebrating special occasions with her array of games which everyone enjoyed. Survivors include her daughter, Joan (Tom) Grounds of Holly Hill, step-son, Arthur Decker of West Virginia, step-daughters, Debbie Clark of Port Orange, Valerie Decker of New Jersey and Mary Morris of Pennsylvania, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, her sister, Joan Bradshaw of Massachusetts and her loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband of 35 years, Arthur G. Decker, and her son, William J. Doerflein. Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday, April 23rd at 11:00 am at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 West Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach, FL, officiating; Pastor Jennifer Woods of Calvary Christian Center, Ormond Beach. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.  Interment will follow at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, Florida.
