Coughlin Dorothy Margaret (Russo) Coughlin, previously of Bethlehem, PA, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, in Ormond Beach, Florida, on September 6, 2026. She was 94 years old. 

She was born on June 21, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York. Dorothy was the adoptive daughter of Grace Parker Rizcallah and Wadeeh Rizcallah. Dorothy shared a loving marriage with her husband, James F. Coughlin, Jr.; he passed away on March 28, 2000. Dorothy lived a full and meaningful life. She and her husband previously owned and operated a horse farm where she combined her love of horses with her gift for bringing people together. During those years, she cultivated friendships that have lasted decades. Even in her final days, friends and loved ones continued to reach out with video calls, video tours of horse stables, cards, and treasured memories, a testament to the lasting impact she had on so many lives.

Over the years, she volunteered at Symphony Hall, First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, Da Vinci Science Center, Equi-librium, and St. Luke’s Hospital. Dorothy will be remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love for those around her. Her legacy lives on through her family, and she will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all blessed to have known her.

Dorothy is survived by her children: James, Jerome, John, and Kathleen. She was the proud grandmother of Danielle, Lauren, Samantha, and Sara. She had (10) great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Fredrik, Henry, Ian, Jaxon, Lillian, Onyx, Owen, Paisley, and Ryder. She is survived by her sister, Pearl, and she was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Coughlin, Jr., and her brother, Mark Bradley.

Masses of Intention will be offered in Dorothy’s honor at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bunnell, Florida, on October 25, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. Masses of Intention will be held at Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary on 10/31/26 at 5 pm for Dorothy and her brother Mark Bradley, and at Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary on 11/17/26 at 9 am for Dorothy. In keeping with Dorothy’s wishes, the family will hold a private service at a later date.
