Funeral Services for Dorothy Carter of Port Orange age 62 who died Sunday October 26th will be Saturday November 1st at 11:00 am at Port Orange Presbyterian Church with Pastor Richard Hills officiating. Family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service.

Dorothy was born in the United Kingdom on April 9 1941. She moved to this area in 1999 from Winneconne Wisconsin. She was an avid golfer and avid reader. She loved many things including Mah-Jongg gardening traveling and dining. She enjoyed decorating and entertaining and truly loved people. The light of her life however were her grandchildren; she loved them dearly.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 25 years Bob; her son Paul and daughter-in-law Jean Bogdanyi of Norwalk CT; her three stepchildren Michael and Liz Carter of Lawrenceville GA; Steve and Jill Carter of Lake Odessa MI; Julie and Kim Simons of Kaukauna WI; her six grandchildren Shane Martin Bogdanyi Linda Carter Lyndsey and Travis Carter Benjamin and Kathryn Simons. She is also survived by two sisters Joan Pieniazek and Margaret Zaibi; and two brothers Trevor and Geoffrey Neesome all residing in England; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son Martin Bogdanyi in 1978 and her parents Tom and Irene Neesome.
