In loving memory of my beautiful bride and best friend who passed away suddenly at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast FL. Born in Detroit MI daughter of Charles & Grace Pero preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Charles and William Pero. Survived by William Bolla her loving husband of 59 years. Also survived by siblings Lucille Spade Mary Ann LaForest Donna Pero James Pero Elaine Pero Charlene Pruitt and Sister Beth Pero; children Theresa Owen (Alan) Richard Bolla (Susan) Cathy Goyer Karen Clark (Mark) Alan Bolla (Kimberly) Lorraine Bolla Nancy Bolla Maureen Colasanti (Joseph); grandchildren Natalie Thakurdin Nicholas Goyer Rebecca Owen Neil Goyer Mark Clark Jr. Dana Wadzinski Alison Greenlee Joseph Bolla Kaitlyn Bolla Joshua Bolla Stephanie Colasanti Renee Pronko Bridget Bolla Anthony and Samuel Colasanti; and great grandchildren Alex Owen Violet Gates Justin Roberts Jacob Crysler Jenna Roberts Rowen Thakurdin Grace Wadzinski and two more upcoming great grandchildren. Married her grade school sweetheart Bill on 10-3-1953. Attended St. Henry's Catholic School. Graduated from Lincoln Park High School. Worked at Michigan Bell Decorators Delight and Century 21 Real Estate. She was an active member of the Friends of the Library of Flagler County Public Library in Palm Coast FL serving on the Executive Board and acting as chair of the hospitality committee. She performed countless hours of volunteer service at the library including working on the automation project and assisting at programs and book sales. She will be missed by all of her friends at the library who thought of her as family. She truly believed in the Power of Positive Thinking and was proud of her family and her Irish heritage. Her favorite dining out spot was Houligan's. She was also active in the Michigan Club and the Belle Terre Swim and Racquet Club where she attended aerobic classes for the last 14+ years. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events and programs at the Flagler Auditorium. A celebration of Dorothy's life took place at the Flagler County Public Library on 10-21-12.
