Dorothy Faye Cabaniss Ayers passed away on February 3, 2022 in Flagler Beach Florida.  She was born October 18, 1938 in Langston, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her father Luther Cabaniss and mother Mary Simpson Marsh, as well as her grandson Nickolas Nelson.

Dottie is survived by her daughter Wendy Ayers Brister (Bob) of Flagler Beach, her granddaughter Ashley Nelson of Altamonte Springs, Florida and her brother Donnie Marsh (Sandra) of Lillian, Alabama.

Dottie was employed with the airlines for over 30 years, spending her retirement years in Florida.  She accomplished so much in her life and touched so many people.  She was loved by many and will stay in their heart hearts forever.  She will be missed for the joy she brought to everyone she met.  The life she led and the enjoyment she shared will never be forgotten.  Her thirst for life was infectious and she was truly one of a kind.  Dottie was a wonderful person that we were all fortunate to love and have in our lives.

A funeral service will be conducted 6:00 om Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Ormond Beach chapel of Lohman Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends after the service with a light reception.
