Doris May Hoffman, 96, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on February 26, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis H. Hoffman.

May was born in Passaic, New Jersey on February 2, 1921. May and Frank spent 67 wonderful years together and raised nine children. She was a wonderful, caring and nurturing mother.

Survivors include their sons Dennis (Theresa) and Andrew (Mary Lou) of Ormond Beach, FL, Brian (Peg) of North Easton, MA, Greg (Val) of Riverton, CT, Tim (Joyce) of Chadds Ford, PA, Chris (Connie) of Venice, FL, Mark (Jane) of London, England, Jeff (Cindy) of Middleton, MA, daughter Marybeth Ann Neblett (John) of Apex, N.C., 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

May recently celebrated her 96th birthday with a luncheon at Plantation Bay Country Club with eight of her children, many of their spouses and three of her grandchildren present to fete her. It was a wonderful celebration in honor of a fantastic Mom and Nana.

May's life will be celebrated in a funeral Mass to be scheduled at a future date. Interment will be in Volusia Memorial Park. Condolences may be shared with the family through this online guestbook.
