Doris "Diane" Long, 63, of Ponce Inlet, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2015.

Diane was born February 23, 1952, to the late William D. Nelson and Eleanor McKey. She is survived by her sister, Linda Leigh Mullins, and her two nephews, Douglas F. Mullins and Dwight M. Mullins.

Diane was a Florida native who loved to travel and see the world in her youth and, in recent years, with her sister Linda. Diane deeply loved and cherished her family and friends and was often the bright light in any room she entered. She touched many lives with her presence. Diane enjoyed a glass of wine with her friends in Daytona which always included smiles and laughter. During her years of employment, she worked as a flight attendant with National Airlines, a restaurant manager for the Daytona Beach Shores Hilton, and a Realtor for Gaff Realty and Watson Realty in the Daytona area.

A Celebration of her Life will begin at noon, with a service at 2 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015, at Lohman Funeral Home, 1201 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, Florida 32127.
