Doris Lievano, 77, of Palm Coast, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021, with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild by her side. Doris was born to the late Pedro Anglero and Iluminada Sanchez on January 7, 1944, in Santurce, Puerto Rico.

Doris married the late Eddy Lievano, the love of her life, on August 6, 1960, and they settled in
New York City to raise a family. Doris is survived by her brothers Peter Anglero, Felix Ortiz,
Ramon Ortiz, Johnny Anglero, and sisters Alice Anglero, Ruth Anglero, Elizabeth Anglero, her
daughter Dorlin Lievano, and son Eddy Lievano Jr., 7 grandchildren, 10 greatgrandchildren, and
1 great-greatgrandchild.

Doris was the consummate mother and grandmother, believing that the true riches of life were
the love of God, family, and her church. Doris was intimately involved in the raising of all her
children, grandchildren, and even great grandchildren. Her love for family did not stop there, as
she was selfless and tireless when it came to children in general. To many, Doris came to be
known as "Granny".

In the days following her passing, people have recounted the many times that they felt comfort
from "Granny". Whether it was a kind word, a stern gesture, a willing ear or just a hot meal.
Any time that someone entered her door, they were greeted with the words, "I'm so happy you
stopped by, I cooked, let me give you something to eat". Her true gift wasn't just food, but love;
a love that would sustain and guide us for many years to come. Her greatgrandchildren
remember her as being selfless and generous beyond her means. Always with a smile, a caring
heart, and a soothing hug.

Doris leaves behind a sense of strength and fortitude that will impact those who were lucky
enough to know her. Her legacy will reflect how she lived life; simple, caring, involved, warm,
loving, and totally dedicated to all the children, her community, her church, but most
importantly, God.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 10th, 2021, from 4pm-8pm, at Lohman Funeral Home, 220
Palm Coast Parkway SW, Palm Coast. A small prayer service will be offered at 5pm.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 1:30pm, Saint Elizabeth
Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast.
