Doris W. (Keene) Kadan 92 passed away peacefully October 30 2010 in Holly Hill FL. Doris was born to Luther and Bessie Mae Keene Aug. 22 1918 in Wilcox County GA. Her graveside service will take place in Rochelle GA Friday Nov. 5 2010 at the Siloam Cemetery. Doris was pre-deceased by her husband Barney whom she married in 1942 and as a ""War Bride"" re-located to upstate New York. After World War II she and her husband lived in the Bronx and then relocated to Hialeah FL before moving to Daytona Beach in 1970 where she lived for the past 40 years. Doris was an avid sports fan and she enjoyed the Dolphins Jaguars and especially Tiger Woods. Her favorite preacher was Jack Hayford. She also enjoyed reading the bible romance novels and she loved experiencing new restaurants. She leaves to cherish her memory: her long term friends Johnsie Carol Grigg and Madeline Berman: three nephews Michael Barry and Gary Catlin of Miami FL; one beloved cousin Susan Ross.
