Funeral service for Mrs. Doris H. Housholder 84 of Peninsula Drive in Daytona Beach will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home. Her family will receive friends from 1:00 pm till time of service. Her interment will be Sunday in Evergreen Cemetery in Carrabelle Florida. Mrs. Housholder passed away Tuesday in Halifax Medical Center. Doris moved to this area 70 years ago. A graduate of Seabreeze High School Doris earned her law degree from the Univ of Florida. She was a former attorney for the state legislature and retired after many years as a workers compensation Judge. Doris was a member of the Palmetto Club the Halifax River Yacht Club the AAUW the Tiger Bay Club as well as a member of the Ormond Beach YMCA. She enjoyed reading gardening and especially loved traveling.
She is survived by her 3 children; Wayne and his wife Pam of Dog Island FL Mark of Carrabelle FL. and Melissa Anderson and her husband Austin of Ft Myers FL. Also surviving is her sister in law Anna Mae Hartman and family of Daytona Beach 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
