Doris E. Hattenbach age 80 of Daytona Beach passed away peacefully in the company of her children on Wednesday October 8 2008 in her home. A funeral service in her honor will be held Monday October 13 2008; 2:00 PM with Leslie Auchin M. Div. officiating. Visitation will precede the service from 12-2PM. Mrs. Hattenbach was born in Illinois and came to the Daytona Beach area 38 years ago. She dedicated many years as a PBX operator for Emory Riddle Aeronautical University Daytona Beach. She was a devoted wife mother grandmother great grandmother and great great grandmother as well as a proud member of The Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Aerie 4089 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 270 VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 3282 and the Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary Lodge 1263. Doris will best be remembered for her love of flowers yard sales reading and sense of humor. Her beloved husband of 28 years Ambrose A Hattenbach precedes her in death (1994). She leaves behind to cherish her memory her 4 children: Richard Reeves Lanny (Sandy) Reeves Vickie LaMar and Diana Buscher 2 children by marriage; Jack (Maggie) Hattenbach and Ruby (Richard) Castro 16 grandchildren 28 great grandchildren 11 great great grandchildren a sister: Vivian Carlough and 3 brothers; Verl Bernard and Bill Keen
