Our beautiful angel Doris Whiten Blair , 97, of Daytona Beach passed away peacefully on March 29th. She was born August 8, 1924 in Conyers, GA to James Russell Whiten and Iree Wallace Irwin Whiten. Doris was an Executive Secretary for Associated Coca-Cola and Root Company from 1955 to 2011. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sidney L. Blair. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Patrick) Blair Thomas, sister, Betty Sue (Horace) Whiten Crump, grandsons, Patrick (Cindy) M. Thomas, Jr. and Tracy N. Thomas, great grandchildren, Bailey (Madison) B. Thomas, Rachael L. Thomas and Hannah (Kevin) Thomas Roberson, great-great grandchildren, Brodey Roberson and Bentley Roberson, nephews, Russell (Arlene) Crump, Wayne (Judith) Deaton, Steven Deaton and Gary (Faye) Whiten, nieces, Mary Grace Ezell and Sandra Whiten Shimp and many friends. Doris is loved beyond words and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 12th at 1:00 pm, funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. Interment will follow at Volusia Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Doris' memory may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, the Parkinson Assoc. of Greater Daytona Beach or the charity of your choice.
