A Mass of Christian Burial for Doris M. Arvay 85 of Ponce Inlet who passed away on November 25 2007 will be held at 8:30 am Friday November 30 2007 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at the Port Orange Chapel of Lohman Funeral Homes with a Wake Service at 7 pm. Doris was born on January 17 1922 to the late William and Frances Crowley in Bronx NY. Always smiling Doris had a great sense of humor was easygoing and "could go into a revolving door and come out on the other side before you with two new friends." She was bookkeeper for Kuzink Well Drilling & Sprinkler Company for 20 years in South Florida and later secretary for Ponce Inlet Women's Club for several years. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband and dance partner of 66 years Frank; nephews Kevin Bill and Michael and nieces Donna and Carolyn. She was preceded in death by her son Gregory.
