Donna Reynolds passed away peacefully in Daytona Beach, FL on August 12th 2025, at 75 years old. She is survived by her daughter Maria and her son-in-law Al. She took extreme pride in her grandchildren Michael, Ashley, Samantha and Constance and Great-Granddaughter Natalya. She was "Aunt Donna" to many wonderful nieces and nephews.

She was welcomed into the world as Donna Maria Locastro in Brooklyn, NY in 1950 by her parents Joseph and Maria Locastro and three older brothers, Gerlando, Nicholas and Edmund.

She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Reynolds, their daughter Shannon Reynolds, as well as her brothers and parents.

Donna had a very unique sense of humor. She loved horror movies and Ann Rice books - she was an avid reader. She made the best meatballs on the planet. She loved Saturday night poker nights with family, crossword puzzles, gardening, shopping, staying up all night for no actual reason other than being "a night person" as well as anything starring David Boreanaz. More than anything, she loved being a Grandma.

Her favorite memories were singing and dancing in the rain with her young grandchildren who talked her into buying them all very expensive umbrellas that day, as well as visiting Disney with them in 2005. She said many times that her "real life" began when she became a Grandma.

She will be missed by her family, her friends, her "friends who became family", her nurses and her cat. She gave us all hell and she is God's problem now * lol.

Donna will be cremated in Florida and then returned to her family plot in New York, at the beginning of November. There will be a small graveside service at Washington Memorial Park in Mt Sinai, dates TBD.

Instead of flowers, her family asks that you do an unexpected and unsolicited, random act of kindness or plant something in her name.

Many thanks to the staff at Blue Palms Health & Rehab of Daytona for taking such wonderful care of her, in her final years as well as Vitas Healthcare (hospice) in her final days. Her family would like to extend their sincere appreciation for making her final days as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
