A Private Memorial Service will be held for Donna Marie Murr age 75 of Lantern Drive S. Daytona FL on Friday June 23 2006. She passed away in her home on Saturday June 17 2006 with her three children and husband by her side. Donna was born on February 28 1931 in Maquoketa Iowa to Joseph Marcus and Sadie Sholtes. She moved to the Daytona area from Jacksonville FL and married Clyde Murr in 1994. A retired secretary for an insurance company Donna loved to travel especially to Biloxi Mississippi to visit the casinos. Late in life painting became her passion and she showed a remarkable talent for the arts. She is survived by her husband of 12 years Clyde; a son John Lynn Sommers of Orlando FL and 2 daughters Lori Jimmy Alvey of Dallas Texas and Linda Jesse Littleton of Jacksonville FL. She is also survived by 2 sisters; Elda Hazer and Elsie George Waters all of Maquoketa Iowa. There are 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Donna was predeceased by 2 husbands Carol Sommers in 1974 and Richard Ebert in 1986 and 3 brothers; Joseph Raymond and Leroy Marcus.
