Donna Gail Johnson (formerly Donna Hancher), 76, of Palm Coast, passed away on February 13, 2019 at AdventHealth Hospice Care in Palm Coast. She was born on January 1, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Maurice and Ruth Hotz. She graduated from Farmington High School in Farmington Hills, Michigan and then from Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan. Donna was employed at The Pentagon from 1961-1965 as a Secretary for the Naval Chief of Staff. After that she was a Flight Attendant for ATA Airlines for 10 years. After retiring she moved to the Palm Coast area 13 years ago from Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Donna was a member of the Daytona Beach Street Rods and she enjoyed tennis, traveling (especially on cruises), and playing cards.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Johnson; two sons, Darrin (Lizette) Johnson of Miami, FL and Jeff (Kittie) Johnson of Palm Bay, FL; two sisters, Linda Costello and Sue (Rick) Jones both of Eustis, FL; two brothers, Ron (Sabrina) Hotz and Larry Hotz both of St. Petersburg, FL; four grandchildren, Brandon Johnson, Justin Johnson, Amanda Johnson all of Miami, FL and Jeffrey Johnson of Louisville, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Ruth Hotz and her three brothers, Jim Hotz, Randy Hotz and Morrie Hotz.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday February 20, 2019 at Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114.

Memorial Donations may be made in her memory to AdventHealth Hospice Care (formerly Stuart F. Meyer Hospice), 150 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164.
