DONNA M. (BOISSE) SPIER - A mass of Christian Faith for Donna M. (Boisse) Spier 51 who died at Halifax Hospice in Orange City FL on November 25 2011 after a long struggle with Multiple Sclerosis will be celebrated Thursday December 1 2011 at 10:00 am at St. Peter's Catholic Church 359 W. New York Ave. DeLand FL. Friends wishing to call and pay respects may do so Wednesday November 30 2011 from 5:30 until 7:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home DeLand. Donna was born on September 5 1960 to Al and Judy Boisse in Marlboro Ma. She attended Fitchburg State College and Assabet Valley Regional Vocational Nursing Program where she earned her Licensed Practical Nursing degree and then worked at Marlboro Hospital as an operating room scheduler until the advancement of her long term illness. Donna moved to DeLand FL in 2001 with her mother and father. Donna enjoyed music reading and listening to books and watching TV. She is survived by the one true joy of her life her son Michael Spier of Denver CO; Her best friend devoted caregiver and loving mother Judy and father Al Boisse of DeLand FL; brother David Boisse of Marlboro MA; Darlene Boisse(Deceased); brother Kevin Boisse (Anna) of Worcester MA; Paul Boisse (Dolores) of DeLand FL; brother Brian of DeLand FL; nieces Amber and Juliana; Nephews Josh and Trevor; great nieces Judith and Brooklyn and many extended family and friends.
