Donald L. Snell 73 of Edgewater passed away on Tuesday July 10th 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday July 20th 2012 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. The family will receive guest for Visitation 1 hour prior to the Service. Internment will immediately follow at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery. Donald was born on November 10 1938 in Miami Florida to the late Geneva A. Lang and Howard C. Snell. Donald served in the United State Marine Corps and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the Department of Transportation in Texas. He enjoyed outdoors fishing boating traveling in his RV western movies and wrestling. He is a former member of the Eagles of Edgewater Florida. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Joyce W. Snell son Allen (Lori) Snell daughter Lesia (Marty) Hernandez step-children Melissa (Tony) Wilson Mary (Greg) Elam. He also leaves behind brothers Larry Richard Eddie Bill Lloyd sister Shirley and eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parent's Mother and Howard Snell brothers Albert and Howard first wife Gladys Snell and daughter Lynn Snell. Memorials donations may be made in his honor to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail and Port Orange Florida 32127 or to the Southeast Volusia Humane Society 1200 South Glencoe Road NSB Florida 32168.
