Donald E. Schofield 94 of Port Orange passed away February 11 2012 peacefully with his family by his side while being cared for by Hospice Care Center of Port Orange. A memorial service for Donald will be Tuesday February 28 2012 at 11:00am at Cardwell Funeral Home in Port Orange. Donald was born in Meredith NH to the late James H. Schofield and Edna Bennett Schofield. Mr. Schofield came to Florida in 1983 as a Snow bird. He has resided in Tanglewood Mobile Home Park for the past 28 years. Growing up in Rochester NH Donald had a roofing and siding business. He retired from Prudential Insurance Co after working for thirty years. Donald was also a life time member of the Elks Club of Rochester NH. Surviving him in death is his loving wife of 40 years Louise (Ouellette) Schofield; one son Gregg C. Schofield of Port Orange FL; three daughters Patricia A. Bourque Susan A. Roy and Donnine Smith all of New Hampshire; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
