Donald B. Schiffman 82 of Palm Coast passed away May 26 2012. A Memorial Service in his honor will be held June 7 2012 at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. Visitation will begin at 4pm with Services starting at 5pm.

Donald was born in Passaic New Jersey. He grew up in Northern NJ. Donald served his country in the Army in Korea. After military service Donald married and started a family in New York. He worked for Aetna as a claims adjustor most of his life. He retired from insurance in 1981 and moved with his wife Joyce to Vero Beach. He settled in Palm Coast in 2011 to be near family.

Donald was a movie buff. He particularly enjoyed watching DVDs. He was always interested in following the news especially current events and politics. Donald also loved listening to classical music. In Vero he was an active member of the Jewish War Veterans organization.

Donald was predeceased by his wife of 41 years Joyce. He is survived by his son Ben Schiffman (wife Debra) of Palm Coast and by his son Robert Schiffman of Plano Texas. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren: Dana Jesse Justin Brent Hannah Austin. Also mourning his loss is Donald's brother Norman Schiffman (wife Miriam) of Queens NY.
