Donald L. Rentzel Jr. 72 passed away on November 17 2010 at the Volusia Flagler Hospice Port Orange Florida. Donald's family is honoring his wish of a private cremation. All arrangements are under the direct supervision of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. Donald was born in McKnightstown Pa. was raised in Gettysburg Pa. and lived in Grantham Pa for 42 years before moving to Daytona Beach FL in 2003. Donald worked as a Journeymen Bookbinder in Harrisburg Pa. He also served in the United States Army in the National Guard and Reserves. Donald was a member of the Drive in Christian Church Daytona Beach Shores. He was also a member of the Masons Lodge #464 Elks American Legion and the Zembo Shrine. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his love of the outdoors and hunting his strong will and great sense of humor and his ability to fix anything and everything. Donald is survived by his wife and soul mate of 53 years Joan of Daytona Beach; and one son Craig of Tampa. He was preceded in death by his parents two brothers and one sister.
