Donald S. Messick Sr. 79 of Ormond Beach peacefully passed away July 22 2012.
He was reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife of 45 years Virginia. Donald retired from G. Heileman Brewing Company in Baltimore MD after 34 years. Additionally Mr. Messick was a stock car racer for over 20 years. After his retirement Donald and Virginia moved to Florida in 1996 from Glen Burnie MD and they traveled all over the country until her passing in 1999.

The Messick's had a very happy marriage that produced 3 wonderful children. Donald will be sadly missed by his son Donald S. Messick Jr. from Pasadena MD; by his daughters Donna Sleight also from Pasadena MD; Danna Crenshaw of Ormond Beach FL; and by his 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Donald will also be mourned by his friends at his local hang-out The Pirana Grille in Ormond Beach.
