A Memorial Service for Donald G. McCutcheon 88 of Holly Hill FL who passed away on May 28 2009 will be held at 2:00pm Thursday June 4 2009 at Bishop's Glen Auditorium 900 LPGA Blvd. Holly Hill FL. Born on September 23 1920 in Leeds Quebec Canada to Robert & Effie McCutcheon Donald retired as a railroad conductor in 1982 after 35 years of service. During that time he also conducted real estate business in Newport VT. Donald was a hard working man who loved to work with his hands. He was the most unselfish man known to his family. His hobbies and interests included square dancing with his beloved wife for many years playing cards and traveling on many cruises with his wife. He was a member of the United Church of Christ in both Newport VT and New Smyrna Beach FL. After retiring in 1982 they moved to Arizona before making a home in New Smyrna Beach FL in 1987. In 2007 they moved to Bishop's Glen. Donald was preceded in death by his brother Dr. W.W. McCutcheon and his survivors include his loving wife of 61 years Dot of Holly Hill; his beloved daughter Donna Gail McCutcheon-Stratton of Stanstead Quebec Canada; and his precious granddaughter Heather Lynn Stratton of Stanstead Quebec Canada. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Donald's memory to the United Church of Christ 203 Washington Street New Smyrna Beach FL 32168 or to a charity of choice.
