Donald P. Maresca, 89 of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away peacefully, on February 13, 2020 at Halifax Hospice Care Center, Ormond Beach.  He was born July 3, 1930 in Oceanside, New York to August and Marie Maresca. He served his country in the Unites States Army and was an Executive at Grumman Aerospace for 35 years. Donald was a parishioner at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, and a member of the Plantation Bay Golf and Country Club. He was an avid golfer, once shot a Hole in One. He loved a good party, enjoyed reading the newspaper, he loved his dog Bella and most of all spending time with his grandkids. Donald is survived by his daughter, Donna Maresca of Ormond Beach, two sons, Gary Maresca of Palm Coast, Florida and Geoff Maresca and his wife Deb of Rye, New York. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Jack Maresca of Rye, NY, Reilly Maresca, Molly Maresca, Rocco Maresca, and Dominick Maresca, all of Palm Coast, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Mary Maresca. Visitation will be held on Sun., Feb 23 ^rd at Lohman Funeral Home, Ormond Beach from 4-7 pm. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Mon., Feb. 24 ^th at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Korona, FL  Memorial Contributions may be made in Donald's memory to Halifax Hospice; 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129 .
