Donald Roy Leavitt of Tifton Georgia went to be with the lord on December 11 2011. He was 65 years old. A visitation in his honor will be on Wednesday December 14 2011 from 4:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. Donald's funeral service will be held on Thursday December 15 2011 at 9:00 A.M at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. He is survived by his best friend and soul mate his loving wife of 10 years Stephanie Leavitt. He was everyone's favorite person. No matter where he went he was the life of the party with his sense of humor wit and great personality. You couldn't help but love him. He loved New England teams and enjoyed watching them. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his 5 children; Theresa Hodgdon and Catherine Leavitt of West Palm Beach Florida. Alice Higgins of Leesburg Florida Lois Leavitt of Harlingen Texas and Donald Jr. of Suwanee Georgia. He was predeceased by 2 brothers; Thomas and Raymond Leavitt and his sister Lois Williams. He leaves behind his 5 sisters Faye Frye Pat Colleton Eileen Nicola Donna Garcia and Rita Leavitt. He also had 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He will be missed each and every day and he will have a place in all of our hearts. To all that he touched his spirit will live on in them forever.
