Donald J. Koons 82 of Port Orange died peacefully on Friday June 24th at the Hospice Care Center of Port Orange surrounded by his wife children and grandchildren. A memorial Mass is to be held on Saturday July 2 2005 at 8:30 AM at the church of the Epiphany in Port Orange.
He was a Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps during WWII. As a former residential contractor he volunteered his services helping to rebuild Miami after Hurricane Andrew. He will be greatly missed especially for his incredible sense of humor and love of laughter which will bring us comfort long after he is gone.
He is survived by his wife Angeline and children Betty Daunt Albuquerque; Christine Dennison Port Orange; Donald Jr. Deland; Kathy Neal Los Angelas; Jackie Pattison Phoenix; Michelle Panaro Phoenix; Alison Karcher Port Orange; His fifteen grandchildren seven great-grandchildren and nephew Wally Hill Michigan.
Memorial Donations are to be made in Mr. Koon?s memory to Hospice of Volusia Flagler: 3800 Woodbriar trail Port Orange Fl 32129.
