A Celebration of Life Service for Donald Ketron 84 who passed away at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach on October 25 2011 will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday October 28 2011 in The Chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach.

Donald Vernon Ketron was born on February 27 1927 in Cleveland Ohio. A Veteran of the US Army he served his country proudly during WWII and the Korean Conflict.
He retired after 37 years of employment with Western Electric. In 2000 he moved to this area from Mumford TN.
Donald was a member of Beville Road Church of Christ in Daytona Beach of which he was very active.
He was a good helpful person to everyone he knew and met. His passions included music computers and football (especially the Miami Dolphins).

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Lucy whom he married on June 4 1960; Daughter Deborah Axelson of Phoenix AZ; two sons Ronald (Kyoko) of Japan and Stephen (Vanessa) of Mesa AZ; Five Grandchildren Justina Timothy Krysten Haleigh and Brittany; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial Donations may be made in his memory to Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center 301 Memorial Medical Parkway Daytona Beach FL 32117.
