Donald Karl Gustin passed away at Ormond-in-the-Pines on Monday March 15 2004. Born in Chicago Illinois Don moved to Ormond Beach in May 2001 from Atlanta Georgia. As a child he came down with a severe case of polio and was treated in Hot Springs Arkansas where with determination he made a remarkable recovery.

For over 40 years that same spirit made him a very successful manufacturers? sales representative for various prominent gift lines. Aside from traveling the southeastern district he also had a large showroom in the Atlanta Merchandise Mart where he represented such lines as Fitz & Floyd and Faroy Candles.

Don was a very loving compassionate generous. and hard-working man. Although he had been in poor health for the past few years he had so much hope for the future. His nephews Daniel Larson Denver Colorado and Gregory Larson Atlanta Georgia as well as close friends and caregivers Terry and Sherry Davidson Daytona Beach Shores Florida survive him.

Private graveside services will be held at the Gustin family plot Rose Hill Cemetery Chicago Illinois. Friends are invited for a visitation on Thursday March 18 2004 at Ormond Funeral Home 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach Florida from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
