Funeral services for Donald A. Gifford 77 who passed away Thursday Jan. 18th in Jacksonville FL will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday Jan. 24th at Westminster By The Sea Presbyterian Church 3221 S. Peninsular with Rev. George Painter and Rev. Jeffrey Sumner officiating. Mr. Gifford was born Jan. 6 1930 in Boston Massachusetts to the late Edward and Mildred Gifford. He was a veteran of the U. S. Airforce during the Korean conflict and received the rank of Staff Sergeant and he enjoyed riding his bicycle and taking trips on the Railroad. He retired as a Manager for Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey. He was preceded by his wife Kathryn and a son Tom. He leaves to cherish his memories nieces Judy LaRocca and Gayle Schmidt nephews Glenn Greg and Rich VanderLaan John Walker a cousin Eleanor Walker.
