Donald Effrain 87 of Daytona Beach Shores passed away Monday April 19 2010. A Funeral Service in his honor will be held on Wednesday April 21 2010 at 10:30am at Westside Baptist Church 1085 Mason Avenue Daytona Beach with Pastor Bob Hadley officiating with Burial to follow at Daytona Memorial Park 1423 Bellevue Avenue Daytona Beach. Family will receive friends Tuesday April 20 2010 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Donald was born on July 22 1922 in Brooklyn New York to Murray and Josephine Effrain. He moved to Florida from Smyrna Georgia in 1981. He enjoyed his church working with children Boy scouts. Donald served in the Navy during World War II. He was a Deacon at the Westside Baptist church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years; son Donald G. (Pamela) Effrain; Daughter Patricia (Bill) Siciliano; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made in his honor to Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States VFW National Headquarters 406 West 34th Street Kansas City Missouri 64111.
