Donald G. Deegan age 74 of Ormond Beach FL died Wednesday June 1 2005 in Florida Hospital-Ormond Memorial. Donald was born August 1 1930 in Dumont NJ to Maurice and Edna McKimm Deegan. He was a resident of Ormond Beach since 1998 when he moved here from Edgewater FL. Don served in the U.S. Navy for 1 year and became a police officer for the Dumont Police Dept. where he served for 31years until his retirement in 1983. Following his retirement Don became the manager of security for Timeplex Inc. in Woodcliff Lake NJ and set up security systems in several European Countries. Don enjoyed sports but most of all loved his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Jean Cheney Deegan 2 sons; Donn of Dumont NJ and Richard of Palm Coast FL a daughter Bonnie Jean Laugalis of Old Tappan NJ a brother Richard Deegan of Grand Rapids MI and 6 grandchildren Jimmy Rice Brian Rice Luke Rice Kristen Deegan Richard J.
