Donald R. Creager 77 died Friday December 3rd at the Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial Hospital. Born in Michigan City Indiana he was a resident of this area for 16 years. Donald was a Michigan City firefighter for 20 years before retiring. Locally he was a driver for DOTS and the Daytona Auto Auction as well as a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and the Daytona Moose # 1263. He was also a member of SKIAT American Legion in Michigan City. Donald was in the merchant marines for 7 years and spent 1 ½ years in Korea during the war. He loved traveling especially cruises and playing golf. Survivors include his wife of 53 years Huguette and their 2 daughters Charmaine Imperato and her husband Pierre and Dona Forrester and her husband Stephen all of Michigan City Indiana. Donald is also survived by his 2 grandchildren Stephanie McKinney and Christopher Imperato. Remembrances may be made in memory the American Lung Assoc.
