In Loving Memory of Donald Everette Barden, 83 years young, SM Sgt, Retired Air Force of 22.5 years. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, April 11, 1932; Died December 11, 2015 in the Sunny State of Florida. Raised in Billerica, Massachusetts and married the love of his life Lucille, October 1952 in Anchorage, Alaska. Through military service lived with his family abroad and retired to Fort Meade, MD, 1972. At which time he started his business Rite-Way Paper Hangers of Pasadena, MD. In his life time he designed and built with his family two beautiful homes. He fully retired to Palatka, FL in 1999 where he began to compile his life's' work of the family history into the Book of Barden.

He has gone to be with his son, Donald Everette Barden, Jr, his daughter Linda Marie Barden; his parents Seth Kerwin and Irene Messerschmidt Barden and his brothers Reginald, Kerwin and David Barden. Survived by his loving wife of 63 years Lucille Dorothy Ayotte Barden. Children; Susan Barden Jamros, Richard Daniel Barden, Sandra Barden Gitschier. Grandchildren; Linda Marie Gitschier, Vanessa Nichole Kayoko~Sumi Barden, Rosalene Ginger Jamros, Ronald Charles Everette Barden Gitschier, Angelene Naomi May Jamros, Donald Albert Seth Gitschier. Siblings; Mavis Goodwin, Patrica Hill, Carol Vaughn, and Gilbert Lee Barden. As well as, many nephews, nieces and cousins. He will be deeply missed by all his loving family and friends.

We will celebrate his life with family and close friends on December 18, 2015 at 2pm, Lohmans Funeral Home Palm Coast FL. His final resting place will be at Arlington National Cemetery with his son Donald Barden, Jr. in June 2016. We will notify family and friends of the specific date and time once all arrangements are finalized.
