Dona S. Kowalig, 88 of Port Orange, Florida died January 1, 2024 surrounded by her family at Countryside Lakes.

She was born August 24, 1935 to the late Katherine and Ellsworth Travis in Peckville PA.

Dona was predeceased by her husband Thomas of 67 years, daughter Candace Rakes, sisters Mary Alice Deshesky and Barbara Hoffman.

She is survived by her children Matthew Kowalig, Patricia Lutz (Gary), Dee Gibson (Peter), grandchildren, Heather Hancock (Nathan), Tommy Kowalig, Ronnie Rakes, Amanda Buckley (Chris), Dakota Lutz (Cheyenne), Mercedi Bennett (Kevin), Hilary Thompson (Josh), Aubrie Cusumano (Chris), Drew Gibson (Katherine), Beth Gibson-Stansfield (Alaistar), Ned Gibson (Megan), Meredith Gibson and 21 Great grandchildren.

Friends and Family are invited to a Visitation period from 1-3 at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange.
