Dominick Joseph Stellitano, 87 of Deltona passed away peacefully, on August 10, 2014 at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial, surrounded by his wife and many members of his family.

A visitation will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 on Friday, August 15, 2014, at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange , 1201 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, Florida 32127. The service will begin at 9:30 A.M., followed by burial at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery.
Dominick was born on August 28, 1926 in Manhattan, New York to the late Sebastian Francis Stellitano and Helen Mentelowsky Stellitano. Dominick was fondly known as Rusty by his friends and Sonny by his family. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was the Training Director of the Electrical Apprenticeship program, a Journeyman Wireman and a member of IBEW LU 756 for 60 years.

Dominick moved to Florida in 1946 from Jackson Heights, New York. His many interests included: Long rides with his wife, fishing, shrimping, woodworking, smoking cheese and mullet, making his famous pickles, gardening, bowling, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Sebastian Francis Stellitano; Mother, Helen Mentelowsky Stellitano; sister, Catherine Burnsed and her husband Charles; granddaughter, Samantha Conley.

Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Patricia Ann Stellitano; sister, Francine Gilman (Jack), 8 children: Michael (Jeannie), Anthony (Virginia), Joseph, Francis (Cindy), Patrick (Kelly), Marie, Ann Collins (Mark), Kathleen; 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and many devoted nieces and nephews.
