Dominick A. Frederick, 86, of South Daytona, passed away on March 26, 2017 at Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, FL. A Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until the Service begins at 1:00pm at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm in the Chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. Burial will follow in Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach. A reception will be held at the Funeral Home immediately following the Burial. Dominick A. Frederick was born on August 25, 1930 in Arnold, PA to the late Anthony and Anna Frederick. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. Dominick retired in 1986 as a Market Manager of many Major Grocery Chains after over 40 years. He moved to this area in 1971 from Lower Burrell, PA. Dominick was a member of The Catholic Church of the Epiphany in Port Orange, FL, the VFW Post 92 in Kensington, PA, the DAV, and the Elks Lodge in Daytona Beach.
He enjoyed woodworking, playing computer games, coin collecting card games and all types of handyman work. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Rosanna; daughter, Debra (Eric) Keatley of Lake Mary, FL; son, Anthony (Cheryl) Frederick of Holly Hill, FL; two sisters, Elaine Paulice and Toni Guzzi of Lower Burrell, PA; and two grandchildren, Austin and Sara Keatley of Lake Mary, Florida. Memorial Donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
