Dolores Foster, 79 of Deland Florida native of New York took her final curtain call on February 5, 2014, surrounded by her loving children; grandchildren, great grandchildren and many loved ones. The viewing for Dee will be 1:00-4:00pm and Services at 4:00pm on Sunday February 9, 2014 at the Lohman Funeral Home in Deland.
Dee's joy of her life was her family. She enjoyed cooking, having dinners and family gatherings. Christmas eve was her favorite of all. Having a generous nature she helped everyone and gave so much to all. Her passion for theatre was her outlet and love, which inspired many. She volunteered for numerous causes and never failed to give when the opportunity was presented. Dee had a spirit that was a force to be reckoned with but underneath that tough exterior was a woman who loved with all of her heart. She loved to travel and wished to do more. In Dees own words she stated "If you wish to remember me do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you, if you do all I have asked I will live forever". In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Halifax Hospice of Volusia Flagler on behalf of Dolores Foster.

Dee has been reunited with her departed son Stephen and survived by her children and their spouses; Kathy & Mike, Lori & Rick, Frank & Anne , Tom & Audrey and Savino. grandchildren and their spouses; Tommy & Nikki, Dylan, Taylor, Justin & Jessica, Roger & Cathy , Nikki, Emelia. Angelina, Jenny, Adrian, Linea, Jackie & Derek, Danny, Tim, Amanda and Roger. great grandchildren; Clarissa, Carlie, Caylee, Alyssa, Jordan, Saharah, Isaiah, Ella, Macayla, Jackson, Austin, Ben, Emma and her beloved cats.
