A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Dolores Emma Fletcher 77 of Ormond Beach FL who passed away on June 7 2009 at 10:00am at Saint Brendan Catholic Church on Friday June 12 2009. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm with a prayer service at 2:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 West Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. Born on August 13 1931 in Flushing NY to Milton Andreas and Dorothy Mott Dolores attended St. Luke's-Whitestone Bayside High School. She received the title "Miss Four Roses" while employed at Seagram's Distilleries. She was an active member in the CCD program at Christ the King. While living in Hauppauge L.I. NY she was a member of the Hauppauge Mr. & Mrs. Club. After moving to Ormond Beach in 1999 she became a member of the New Horizons Club the Daytona Beach Symphony and the London Symphony Orchestra. She was an avid book reader and loved needle point gardening sewing and she loved creating Christmas ornaments for relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Dorothy Townsend; and her beloved husband of 58 years LeRoy Fletcher. Survivors include her three loving daughters Nancy Amico of Ormond Beach Mary Ellen Redmond (John) of Fayetteville GA and Kathy Toth (Chuck) of Millstone Township NJ and Sister Joanne Trainor of Palatine IL and beloved grandmother to Brian & Christopher Redmond Kevin & Kellie Amico and Mary & Kathryn Toth along with being great-grandmother to Brylee Amico. And many loving nieces and nephews.
