It is with deep sadness and love that we announce the passing of Dikran Beurklian, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left us peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Beirut Lebanon on June 30, 1944, he is predeceased by his parents, Avedis Dikran Beurklian and Satenig Alajajian.  Dikran had a very extraordinary life by any measure.  Born into a proud Armenian family, he carried his heritage with deep pride throughout his life.  In 1968 he immigrated to the United States. His roots were the foundation of his values, his traditions, and his generous spirit.  He lived a life of service. He helped many, including his family, and especially fellow Armenians immigrate to the USA, assisting them with housing, jobs, and paths to residency.  A master jeweler by trade, Dikran had an exceptional eye for beauty and a passion for his craft.  His hands created timeless pieces that brought joy too many.  He was a jeweler for 33 years in Boston, but it was his warmth and kindness that truly made his work and life shine. His customers became life-long friends, whose children then became customers.

Dikrans life was grounded in unwavering faith. His relationship with God guided him throughout his life, including his years as a student of theology at the Antillias Seminary in Beirut. His spiritual devotion was a steady presence in all he did. He loved life, simple pleasures, like a good Armenian meal, and the laughter shared with family and friends.  Dikran and his beloved wife, Elaine, shared 56 beautiful years of marriage.  He loved to explore new places with Elaine by his side.  He retired early to travel to Armenia and other beautiful places.  He embraced every moment with curiosity, joy, and gratitude.  He was a proud husband, father and grandfather.  You could always find him drinking his sourj, watching the sunset or the moonrise over Flagler Beach.  His wisdom, humor, and compassion will live on in the hearts of the ones he leaves behind.

Dikran is survived by his wife, Elaine Beurklian; son, Avo (Irina); son, Ara (Rose), sisters, Marie Bazarian and Louisa Kheremian; brother, Harry Beurklian; grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who loved him.

There will be a visitation on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 4:30pm-8pm at Lohman Funeral Home located at 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW, Palm Coast, Florida 32137.  Prayer and speaking will begin at 5pm.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made in his name to the American Cancer Society and/or a donation to your Armenian church.
