Diane Sue Ahr-Thomas 65 of Daytona Beach passed away at her home on Tuesday July 13 2004. Her family will receive friends at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Born on June 10 1939 in Silver Creek New York to Franklin Adelbert and Thelma Sue Ahr; Diane lived life with great enthusiasm. She moved to the Daytona Beach area in 1961 from New York. Diane grew up in the Lutheran Faith attending Holy Cross Lutheran Church with her parents who were members there. She was a great animal lover enjoyed being outdoors be it with her gardening or fishing; enjoyed taking photos especially of her family and loved to collect knick-knacks and antiques even turning that joy into a business Diane?s Wishing Well which was in Holly Hill.

Diane was preceded in death by a daughter Lynda Gail Parry and her father Frank Ahr. Left to cherish her memories are her husband and partner of 27 years Van C. Thomas; daughter Kathy Tony DiGregorio; mother Thelma Sue Ahr; granddaughter Carey Ann Henley; grandson A.J. Benedictis; great grandson Joshua Gammero and brother Dan E. Ahr many loving friends and caregivers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Leukemia Society 3319 Maguire Blvd. Suite 101 Orlando FL 32803.
